Forecasts are estimates; travel at your own risk. By using Island Pulse, its website or its Telegram bot, you agree to the points below.
1. Not an official warning system
Island Pulse provides hyper-local weather estimates for Koh Phangan, Koh Samui and Koh Tao using third-party data and our own calibration. We are not an official meteorological authority. For official severe weather warnings, consult the Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) or your local authority.
2. Sea conditions and ferry travel
Any marine, wave or wind forecast on Island Pulse is a predictive estimate. It does not guarantee safe travel conditions. The decision to operate ferries, speedboats or diving excursions rests solely with the vessel captains and operating companies, and they have the final say.
3. Assumption of risk
Any decision you make based on Island Pulse, including travel, swimming, diving or event planning, is made entirely at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Island Pulse, its creators and its affiliates accept no liability for financial loss, travel disruption, injury or damage resulting from reliance on our forecasts or on AI-generated answers. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under mandatory consumer-protection law that cannot be waived, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
4. AI-generated answers
Answers in the Ask box are generated by an AI model from the weather data we hold. They can be wrong or incomplete. Treat them as a convenience, not as advice.
5. Service as provided
Island Pulse is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. It may be interrupted, changed or withdrawn at any time, and it depends on third-party data sources we do not control.
6. Affiliate links
Island Pulse may contain affiliate links (for example ferry bookings or accommodation). If you click a link and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Bookings are made with the provider, under the provider's terms.
7. Acceptable use
You may not scrape, reverse-engineer, copy or attempt to overwhelm the website, its APIs (including the Ask box) or the Telegram bot. We may block IP addresses or Telegram accounts that abuse the service.
8. Intellectual property
The Island Pulse software, name, logo and predictive weather calibration models are proprietary and may not be reproduced or used commercially without our written permission. Third-party data and map tiles remain the property of their providers.
9. Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts in Israel have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights you may have in the country where you live.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use Island Pulse after a change means you accept it.
