Privacy
Short version: IslandPulse doesn't want your data. The home page is fully anonymous — no account, no tracking pixels, no analytics that follow you around the web.
What we store
- Weather data — radar frames, AI calls, and accuracy history. None of it is tied to you.
- Alert subscriptions — if you sign up for Telegram, WhatsApp, or browser-push alerts, we store the channel identifier (e.g. your Telegram chat ID or push endpoint) so we can send you the alert. That's it. No name, no email unless you give us one. You can unsubscribe at any time and the record is deleted.
What we don't store
- Your IP address (beyond the standard server log retention).
- Your location — the app is hard-coded to Koh Phangan.
- Third-party advertising or behavioural tracking.
Third-party data
Radar tiles load directly from RainViewer and map tiles from OpenStreetMap. When you open the map, those services may see your IP address as part of normal HTTP requests. We don't share anything else with them.
Questions or deletion requests
Email the project owner via the contact link on the homepage, or simply unsubscribe from the alert channel — your record is removed automatically.
